Health warning: Health dangers of mobile phones!

With a mobile phone for more than 10 years raises the chance of getting brain cancer, according to the most comprehensive study of these risks yet published.

The study which interrupts official pronouncements that there isn’t any danger of getting the disease found that people who’ve had the phones for a decade or more are twice as likely to get a cancerous tumor on the side of the mind where they hold the handset.

  • The research confirms that cell and a cordless mobile microwave can:
    Damage nerves in the scalp
  • Create joint pain, muscle spasms, and tremors
Create burning sensation and rash on the skin
  • Induce ringing!
  • Open the blood-brain barrier to viruses and toxins
Reduce the number and efficiency of white blood cells
  • Cause digestive problems and raise bad cholesterol levels
Stress the endocrine system, especially pancreas, thyroid, ovaries, testes.

The scientists who conducted the research say using a mobile for only an hour daily throughout this period is sufficient to raise the risk and that the worldwide standard used to shield users in the radiation emitted isn’t safe and has to be revised.
They conclude that caution is necessary for the use of mobile phones and believe kids, who are particularly vulnerable, should be discouraged from using them at all.
Cancers take at least 10 years and normally much longer to develop but, as mobile phones have spread so lately and fast, relatively few individuals have been using them that long.
Official assurances that the phones are safe are based on research which has, at best, comprised only a few people who have been subjected to this radiation for long enough to get the disease and are consequently little or no value in analyzing the real risk.

The scientists pulled together the outcomes of the 11 studies that have so far investigated the incidence of tumors in those who have used phones for more than a decade, drawing on research in Sweden, Denmark Finland, Japan, Germany, the United States and Britain. They discovered almost all had found a heightened risk, especially on the side of the mind where people listened to their own handsets.
The only one that didn’t still found an increase in benign gliomas. Four of the five studies that looked at acoustic neuromas benign but often disabling tumors on the auditory nerve, which generally cause deafness found them. The exclusion was based on only two cases of the disease but nevertheless found that long-term users had larger tumors compared to other people.
The scientists assembled the findings of all the research to analyze them collectively. This demonstrated that individuals who’ve used their mobiles for a decade or more are 20 percent more likely to contract acoustic neuromas, and 30 percent more likely to acquire malignant gliomas.
The threat is even greater on the side of the mind the handset is utilized: long-term users were twice as likely to get the gliomas, and two and a half times more likely to get the acoustic neuromas there than other men and women.

The scientists conclude: Results from present studies on the use of mobile phones for more than 10 years provide a consistent pattern of an elevated risk for acoustic neuroma and glioma. They include that “an increased risk for other types of brain tumors cannot be ruled out.
Professors Hardell and Mild have also themselves completed some of the very extensive original work into tumors among long-term mobile phone users and have come up with much more alarming results. Their study suggests they are over three times more likely to acquire malignant gliomas than other people, and almost five times more likely to receive them on the face of the head where they held the phone. For acoustic neuromas, they discovered that a threefold and three-and-a-half-fold increased danger respectively.
They have also carried out the only study on the impacts of the long-term utilization of cordless phones and found this also increased both kinds of tumors. Their study indicates that employing a mobile or cordless phone for only 2,000 hours less than an hour daily for 10 years is sufficient to augment the threat.

Professor Mild told The Independent on Sunday: I find it quite strange to see so many official presentations saying that there is no risk. There are strong signs that something happens after 10 years. He stressed that mind cancers are uncommon: they account for less than two percent of main tumors in Britain, though they are disproportionately deadly, inducing 7 percent of those years of life lost to the illness. Every cancer is one too many, ” he said.

He said that he uses a mobile phone as little as possible, and urges other people to use hands-free equipment and create only brief calls, reserving longer ones for landlines. In addition, he said that mobiles should not be given to kids, whose thinner skulls and growing nervous systems make them particularly vulnerable.
The danger might be even greater than the brand new study suggests for, as Professor Mild states, 10 years is the minimum period required for cancers to grow. As they normally take much longer, very much more could be likely to strike long-term customers following 15, 20 or even 30 years which leads some to fear that an epidemic of this disease could grow in the coming decades, especially among the young men and women.
On the other hand, the professor points out that the amount of radiation emitted by cell phones has decreased greatly since the first ones came in the marketplace more than a decade ago, meaning that exposures and risks should also be decreasing. However, he still recommended choosing phones that offer out as little radiation as possible (see below) and pointed out that most individuals are now also exposed to many different sources of radiation, such as masts and Wi-Fi systems, though these emit much less than mobile handsets.
Britain’s official Health Protection Agency that has taken a cautious view of claims that radiation from mobile phones, their masts, and Wi-Fi installments can harm health admits that the study may be indicative of a threat, but states that “such investigations cannot be conclusive.
The Mobile Operators Association said: This isn’t new data for the World Health Organisation and the many independent expert scientific committees who state that there are no established health dangers from using mobile phones which comply with international guidelines.
Both sides agree that there is a need for more research. Professor Mild said a possible link between mobile phones and Alzheimer’s disease also needs to be examined since we have signs that it may be a problem as well as a potential connection with Parkinson’s disease, which can not be ruled out.
In the meantime, the scientists want a revision of the emission standard for mobiles and other sources of radiation, which they explain as inappropriate and not secure. The worldwide standard is made only to prevent damaging heating of living tissue or induced electrical currents in the human body and does not take the possibility of getting cancer into account.
Professors Hansen and Mild serve on the global BioInitiative Working Group of leading scientists and public health experts, which this summer produced a report warning that the standard has been thousands of times overly lenient.
The BioInitiative report added: It has been demonstrated beyond reasonable doubt that some negative health effects occur at far lower rates of exposure a few at several thousand times under the existing safety limits. It also warned that unless this is corrected there might be “public health problems of a global character.

Case study: ‘Mobiles would be the smoking of this 21st century; they want health warnings’
Neil Whitfield, a 49-year-old dad of six, developed an acoustic neuroma in 2001 following years of heavy mobile phone use, across the left side of the mind, to which he’d stored his handset. He states he had no family history of the illness and that when he asked a professional what had caused it, the doctor had asked him if he used a mobile.

I was on it four hours per day, readily he says. As soon as I held it to my mind, I could feel that my ear becoming hot.
He adds that he completely lost his hearing in his left ear and was off work for 12 months. Unable to return to his old job in marketing, he became a teacher, enduring a Ł20,000 fall in earnings.
It’s had a devastating impact on my loved ones, ” he states. Mobile phones are the smoking of the 21st century; they should have health warnings on them. You’d never get a kid a pack of smokes, but we provide them mobiles which could cause them injury.

Warning: your version May Be Dangerous

Exposure to radiation revealed as Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) levels, varies widely in various models. Producers and the Government have disregarded the Stewart report that urges that they are clearly marked on phones and boxes. They are thus hard to find, although the Carphone Warehouse catalog includes them. An easily accessible list of phones and radiation exposures is printed in Germany, in which low-radiation models, defined as having SAR of 0.6 or under, are encouraged.
